In January 2006, Ms. Steele joined Bostwick Laboratories as the Operations Manager for the London, England laboratory. Prior to joining Bostwick Laboratories, Ms. Steele held the position of senior scientific officer on the molecular pathology team at Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre, where she set up and ran the Pathology Core Facility. She also worked at several large teaching hospitals in London in the diagnostic field and has over 15 years of experience as a state registered Biomedical Scientist in Histopathology in both the diagnostic and research fields.

Ms. Steele received her BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of West of England and also has a Fellowship (FIBMS) in Biomedical Sciences and a post graduate certificate in Management Development from the University of Westminster. She has also achieved Chartered Scientist Status (CSci) from the Science Council.
