• Yields a specimen more than 95% of the time if collected properly, as compared to about 80% of the time with other samplers like the pipelle.
• Studies show that it may have greater sensitivity than pipelle.
• It obtains a very well tolerated collection of up to 60% of the endometrial lining.
• This can save a woman from undergoing a traditional, often painful endometrial biopsy.
• The protective sheath minimizes sample contamination during insertion and removal.
